100mg/5mL for atomization or nasal irrigation
Tobramycin belongs to the class of antibiotics known as aminoglycosides. They have a broad spectrum of action but are usually reserved for infections against gram-negative bacteria – particularly pseudomonas colonies in the sinus cavity. Certain bacteria are found naturally on many people’s skin and inside their nose. These bacteria are usually harmless and don’t cause any problems. Sometimes bacteria or fungus can either invade the nasal passages and sinuses or overgrow normal levels due to a compromised immune system. Tobramycin atomized solution is an effective way to eradicate infections in the nasal passages and sinuses.
Atomized Treatment
This method uses an atomizer to pump in liquid tobramycin medication to the sinus area. The compact electronic atomizer releases the liquid medication into mist that gets inhaled into the sinus and nasal cavity regions.
Nasal Irrigation
The medication can be administered with a nasal irrigation bottle. The medication and a saline rinse are mixed together in the nasal rinse bottle, which is then used to irrigate the nasal passages and sinuses.
